Issues of Diversity Off to a Strong Start

The Issues of Diversity series kicked off its 2014 season with a panel on March 11. The three presenters—Alison Downie of Religious Studies, Tarah Dunn of the MA-TESOL program, and English major Jason Kish—presented work related to themes of race, racism, and religion. A lively question-and-answer session followed the presentations.

The next panel, entitled “Diverse Collaborators and the Experience of Editing an Anthology,” will be held on Tuesday, March 25. The full schedule for Issues of Diversity is available on the Frederick Douglass Institute website. All are welcome to bring a lunch and participate in the conversations.

All Issues of Diversity sessions take place from 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. in 210 Stabley, Stapleton Library.
