Dine and Discuss Feminist Communication and Mindful Listening at Feminist Friday, March 28

Image of a dictionary definition of the word communicationFeminist Friday is a time to dine and discuss campus feminist issues. On March 28, join us for an informal discussion on feminist communication and mindful listening. Theresa McDevitt will lead mindful listening exercises to enhance your communication skills. Faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend, regardless of gender identity.

“In this busy world of ours, the mind gets pulled from one place to the next, scattering thoughts everywhere and leaving us stressed and sometimes anxious. This makes it hard to really listen, be open, and connect with those around us. During Feminist Friday, we will try some mindful listening activities to connect, calm, and improve communication.” — Theresa McDevitt, IUP Libraries
