Register Now for Noncredit Art Courses Through Community University Studies

Do you have an interest in art, and are looking for somewhere to begin? Or are you an experienced art students looking to further your skills?

Drawing Fundamentals” is a course for both beginners as well as students with experience. Students will explore the language of drawing and develop observational abilities and rendering skills. The course meets from 6:00–9:00 p.m. on four Mondays: March 24, March 31, April 7, and April 14.

In “Introduction to Color,” students will learn to use basic color theory in still-life drawing and landscape painting. This course is for both beginning and experienced students. The course meets from 6:00–9:00 p.m. on four Thursdays: March 25, April 1, April 8, and April 15.

Personal Art Project Workshop” is designed to work with students’ personal art projects. Students will choose one of their favorite subjects and materials to complete at least two finished drawings or paintings by the end of the course. The instructor will explain how to present and display artwork professionally. The course meets from 6:00–9:00 p.m. on four Wednesdays: March 26, April 2, April 9, and April 16.
