It’s Eating Disorder AWAREness Week!

Body Positive Tip 11. Learn to tell the difference between society's beauty ideals and your own ideals of beauty. Don't let society's standards dictate how you feel about yourself. Eating disorders are a bigger problem than you may think. While a lot of people think that they are just a lifestyle choice, eating disorders are actually serious illnesses that affect a variety of people, including students in college.

This week, Health AWAREness is hosting Eating Disorders AWAREness week. On Wednesday, February 26, we will host an Eating Disorder AWAREness program at Northern Suites in Room 304. The program will start at 7:00 p.m. and is open to the entire campus community. Come to the program to learn about eating disorders and their impact on the college community.

This event is sponsored by Health AWAREness, a part of the Center for Health and Well-Being.
