Job Description

We are in need of housekeepers that are qualified to provide superlative services to our guests here at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.

Housekeepers have the basic responsibility of keeping the establishment they work for clean, stocked with supplies and well-maintained.

  • We strive to provide our guests with a fun, exciting and hygienic atmosphere when attending events hosted here.
  • Follows detail work sheet or instructions explaining daily duties
  • Clean/sanitize lobbies, hallways, conference rooms, restrooms, elevators, stairways, concourse, and any other work areas in order for health standards to be maintained on a regular basis
  • Clean rugs, carpets, and hallways/concourse floor using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal area
  • Carry towels, linens and toiletry/cleaning supplies on wheeled cart
  • Pay attention/keep track of supplies used, so when running low you can inform the supervisor on duty
  • Clean windows and mirrors, using soapy water, other cleaners provided, and squeegees
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in buckets to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications
  • Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent any damage to floors, fixtures, and walls
  • Notify supervisor concerning any needs or damages around the building that need repaired
