Student Death: Joseph Lutz

I am saddened to inform you of the death of Joseph Lutz, 22, of Plum, a junior majoring in Management Information Systems. Joseph died Saturday, November 9, 2013, as a result of a motorcycle accident in Fox Chapel.

Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, November 13, from 2:00–4:00 and 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Maurice L. Knee, Ltd., Funeral Home, 7663 Saltsburg Road, in Plum. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, November 14, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Plum Creek Cemetery.

News such as this can evoke strong feelings. The best way to cope is to talk to your closest friends, family members, or trusted teachers. There are people among us who have experienced similar events, and they are often more than willing to help others going through difficult circumstances.
