McLaughlin Discusses Empirically Supported Interventions for Students at Risk

Courtney McLaughlin, assistant professor in the Educational and School Psychology Department, presented “Enhancing Evidence-Based Interventions for Students at Risk for Depression within a School-Based Mental Health System” at the 18th annual conference on Advancing School Mental Health. 

During her presentation, information about empirically supported interventions for students at risk for was discussed. Attendees benefited by expanding their understanding of utilizing cognitive-behavioral therapy interventions within a school-based mental health.

The conference, presented by the Center for School Mental Health of the University of Maryland School of Medicine in collaboration with the IDEA Partnership, was held in Arlington, Virginia, on October 3–5, 2013.
