Jackson Discusses U.S.-Japan-China Relationship and Power Transition Theory

Steven Jackson of the Political Science Department took his expertise of Asian politics Down Under this summer to present a conference paper.

Jackson’s paper, “Pivots, Transitions, and Distractions: Power Transition Theory and the US-Japan-China Relationship 2000–2012,” was part of the official program of the Power Transition in Asia Seminar. The two-day conference explored themes related to the rise of China and its implications for the Asia Pacific.

The conference was hosted by the University of Western Sydney in Parramatta, Australia, July 24–25, 2013.
