PEBTF Health Care Open Enrollment

Attention AFSMCE, SCUPA, and PSSU employees: Watch your mail for important information about the 2013 PEBTF Open Enrollment, which is being held October 7 to October 25, 2013. All changes are effective January 1, 2014.

There are no health plan or benefit changes for 2014—copayments, deductibles, and coinsurance remain the same. If you are happy with your current plan, you do not need to do anything during this Open Enrollment. For more information, refer to the Open Enrollment newsletter or visit PEBTF. The newsletter also includes important benefit information.

Employees Hired On or After August 1, 2003

The PPO buy-up costs are increasing for 2014. The single biweekly cost increases from $21.38 this year to $29.13 in 2014; the family biweekly cost increases from $54.08 this year to$75.08 in 2014. You may enroll in the HMO or CDHP during Open Enrollment if you want to save money.

Part-Time Employees

The biweekly costs have also increased for 2014. Refer to the PEBTF Open Enrollment newsletter you will be receiving.

All Employees

Review the Open Enrollment newsletter for instructions on electing a new plan option. All changes must be made by Friday, October 25, 2013.
