How to Recruit Graduate Students Workshop: September 27

The fifth annual "How to Recruit Graduate Students" workshop will be held on Friday, September 27, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. in G98 Wallwork Hall.

All graduate coordinators are invited to attend, with special encouragement to those that:

  • are new coordinators.
  • have low enrollments.
  • have a program that needs to improve the quality of its students, or needs to recruit a more diverse student population
  • have a program that is a "Western PA" focused program, because those will be in trouble as the decline in high school students hits the master's programs in about two years.

Deans, associate deans, and department chairs are most welcome!

The workshop lasts for three hours, and participants will leave with a customized recruiting plan, so the end result is worth it.

Presented by Tim Mack, Dean, School of Graduate Studies and Research
