Mindfulness Days with Katie Hammond Holtz, Psy.D.

The Mindfulness Living Learning Community and the Center for Health and Well-Being are cosponsoring four days of mindfulness training at the College Lodge. Here is full information about the one- and four-day workshops.

Mindfulness is a practice of deepening awareness of the present moment. These practices have been demonstrated to promote greater awareness, help focus attention, and deepen a sense of presence and compassion towards others. It also increases joy and happiness in our lives.

Katie Hammond Holtz has been a meditation teacher since 2002 and has been a practitioner of mindfulness meditation since 1991. She has led mindfulness retreats around the country. She is a graduate of the Doctor of Psychology program at IUP.
