Over the course of one tumultuous weekend, Noel returns to his hometown to confront the sudden death of his best friend, the wedding of his philandering father, and the reemergence of his one true love, Nicole. This play contains language and situations to which some audience members may object.

Internationally acclaimed pianists Eva-Marie Zimmerman, from Switzerland, and Keisuke Nakagoshi, from Japan, join forces and electrify audiences with their dazzling artistry for four-hand piano. The ZOFO Piano Duet takes place on Monday, September 30, at 8:00 p.m. in Gorell Recital Hall. Reserved seating ticket prices are $20 regular, $16 discount, and $12 with an I-Card.

The Optimist will be presented on the Waller Hall Mainstage at 8:00 p.m. on October 3–5 and 9–12, and at 2:00 p.m. on October 6. Written by Jason Chimonides and directed by April Daras, this play is a hilarious, poignant journey highlighting events over one family’s tumultuous weekend. Please note that this play contains language and situations to which some audience members may object and is not suitable for children. General admission ticket prices are $14 regular, $12 discount, and $9 with an I-Card.
