President Obama Signs Student Loan Interest Rate Legislation into Law

President Obama signed into law a new method for setting federal education loan interest rates that will fluctuate with the markets, keeping them low for this year.

Undergraduate subsidized and unsubsidized loans are 3.86 percent.

Graduate unsubsidized direct loans are 5.41 percent.

PLUS loans (both Graduate PLUS and Parent PLUS) are 6.41 percent.
