ALS Ph.D. Student Uses International Experience to Enlighten Expatriates

Gloria OnosuAdministration and Leadership Studies Ph.D. student Oghenebruphiyo Gloria Onosu recently presented her work entitled “A Qualitative Analysis of Challenges Facing Expatriate Worker Coming to the United States” at the IUP 2013 Graduate Scholars Forum.

When asked what it was like to present a paper at the forum, Gloria responded, “It was a good opportunity to share my research work, as well as learn from other scholars present.”

Gloria first became interested in her subject matter in 2010 while studying in the United States as an international student at the Employment and Labor Relations Department at IUP. She hopes to use her research on the expatriate adjustment process to enlighten expatriates, organizations, and educational institutions regarding the importance of creating a supportive environment for the expatriate community—one that will help them achieve the highest levels of productivity.

Please join us in congratulating Gloria on her fine presentation!
