Williamson Discusses “Holocaust Texts as Mystical Texts”

Michael T. Williamson, Department of English, presented a paper, “Desperate Play: Holocaust Texts as Mystical Texts,” at the 15th annual international interdisciplinary conference of the Space Between Society: Literature and Culture, 1914–1945.

Williamson’s article “Modernist Yiddish Aesthetics, I. L. Peretz’s Middlebrow Yiddish Poetics, and the Place of Yehoash in Modernist and Middlebrow Literary History” will be published in the refereed journal, the Space Between: Literature and Culture, 1914–1945.

The paper was presented on June 21, 2013, at the DePaul University in Chicago. The article will be published in the Autumn issue of the journal.
