Watson Elected to Pennsylvania Humanities Council Board

Associate professor of English Veronica T. Watson has been elected to serve on the Board of the Pennsylvania Humanities Council.

Watson is also the director of the Frederick Douglass Institute Collaborative of the State System of Higher Education.

The Pennsylvania Humanities Council is a private, nonprofit, nongovernmental organization dedicated to providing every Pennsylvanian with access to the humanities. It builds and leads a vibrant network of individuals, organizations, and communities that champions the humanities and empowers Pennsylvanians to think critically, grow, and engage in their communities.

Board members are selected on the basis of their experience, diversity and commitment to the public humanities.
