Guestworkers and Immigration: Lessons from the Bracero Program

Andrew Hazelton will present on the Bracero Program in the HUB Monongahela Room at 3:30 p.m. on April 24, 2013.

Join us to explore the program, guestworkers and immigration, and labor relations in the United States. The Bracero Program, a Mexican agricultural guestworker program between 1942 and 1964, sheds important light on these questions and the broader immigration debate.

The event is sponsored by the Latin American Studies Program and the Department of Political Science.
