Hamer and Lipsky Facilitate Book Discussions at Developmental Education Conference

Sally Lipsky and Arden Hamer, professors in the Developmental Studies Department, reviewed and facilitated discussions based on two books at the National Association of Developmental Education 37th annual national conference in Denver, Colo., in February 2013.

Hamer reviewed and facilitated a discussion on Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Won’t Stop Talking, by Susan Cain.

Lipsky and Hamer reviewed and facilitated a discussion on The Shallows: What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains, by Nicholas Carr.
