Klein Is Featured Presenter at Maryland Conference on Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students, March 22

Diane Klein, professor emeritus in the Department of Special Education and Clinical Services, was the featured presenter at "Language, Literacy and Technology: Links to Success for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Students" the annual Maryland statewide conference.

Klein presented on March 22, 2013, in Westminster, Md. Her morning session was entitled “Making the Common Core Standards Work for Speech, Language, and Literacy Development."

Her afternoon session was titled “Jump in the Sandbox: Building Your Teacher Toolbox with Games and Other Fun Strategies.” 

Klein provides practical sessions with hands-on activities so that participants leave knowing how to incorporate new evidence and methods into their instruction.
