French Diplomats to Visit IUP

The Faculty of the French program, the Department of Foreign Languages, and the College of Humanities and Social Sciences invite you to a special event: “Why Learn French in the XXIst century?” This conference is an interdisplinary presentation and discussion with French honorary consuls, French faculty and students, and colleagues from around Western Pennsylvania.

Special guests will be Jean-Dominique Le Garrec (honorary consul, French Republic) and Jean-Pierre Collet (president, Consular Association and former honorary consul, French Republic).

The conference will take place in Stephenson Hall, Room G-41, at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013.

The event will also be broadcast live on Ustream.

Refreshments will be served.
