Diane Klein, professor emeritus in the Department of Special Education and Clinical Services, presented a session at the Association of College Educators – Deaf and Hard of Hearing Conference in Santa Fe on February 21, 2013.
Her talk was entitled “Do We (Teachers of the Deaf/Educational Audiologists) Matter?” She focused on the need for these groups of professionals to become aware of and utilize self-advocacy skills to increase awareness of the need for their services in the school setting.
