Huhn Presents on Classroom Cell Phone Use: “Nuisance or Necessity”

Christina Huhn, Department of Foreign Languages (Spanish), presented a session at the annual Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, held in Baltimore, Md., March 7-10, 2013.

The session was entitled “Nuisance or Necessity: Personal Electronic Devices in the Classroom.” The focus of the session was the role that these devices can play in the language classroom, including best practices, current research, potential uses, and how what may seem a nuisance can be a positive medium for our students.
