Beverly Chiarulli and Sarah Neusius, Department of Anthropology, presented on their Johnston Site research at the Mid Atlantic Archaeological Conference annual meeting in Virginia Beach, Va., on March 9, 2013. Four groups of graduate students in the M.A. in Applied Archaeology program also presented on faunal analyses during a poster session.

This was the 49th annual meeting of the Mid Atlantic Archaeological Conference. The mission of the organization is to provide a yearly conference and a professional journal for archaeologists, both avocational and professional, working in the Middle Atlantic area: a place to meet, discuss problems and issues, present recent work, and socialize with our colleagues.
