There will be an IUP Pride Alliance meeting on Tuesday, February 26, at 7:00 p.m. in the HUB Monongahela Room.
At this meeting Pride will be having a guest speaker talking about healthy relationships, and domestic violence.
The purpose of the Pride Alliance shall be to: foster a safe and supportive academic and social environment for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, and ally community of IUP; to provide educational information on gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered issues at IUP; add to the rich diversity of IUP’s academic and residence life and push for unity among IUP students; and address incidents of homophobia and heterosexism in a manner that will create higher levels of understanding.
All people who attend meetings shall be protected from public acknowledgement of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and group attendance. Any person can be a member of Pride Alliance.
