Comfort foods received a makeover by dietetic interns Desiree Heckman, Anna Hummel, and Hana Smith at a food demonstration on February 12, 2013, in Ackerman Hall.
The interns made lighter versions of some favorite foods, including brownies made with zucchini and baked macaroni and cheese with pumpkin! Attendees got to sample the foods and received a packet of recipes to take home.
The food demonstrations are part of the campuswide Wellness Works Initiative. Approximately 21 IUP faculty and staff attended the event.
