IUP graduate student and clinical dietetic intern Melanie Laird presented an exhibit on “The New American Plate” at the Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center Breast Cancer Awareness Health Fair on October 17, 2012.
The exhibit was rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes.
IUP dietetic interns participate as food and nutrition experts in many community events throughout their year-long dietetic internship.
