The Black Emphasis Committee will present a theater production on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the HUB Ohio Room.
What would have happened if Malcolm X and Martin Luther King had met before they were assassinated, just three years apart? This intriguing idea is the subject of the critically acclaimed play, "The Meeting", a powerful drama about the lives, philosophies, and times of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. This event is free. Attendance vouchers will be provided.
The mission of the Black Emphasis Committee is to provide social and
recreational activities for minority students attending IUP and to
promote and deepen minority and majority students’ understanding of
African American heritage and culture.
