W. David Watkins, an undergraduate student in the Geoscience Department, presented the results of his research at the Geological Society of America annual meeting, held November 4-7 in Charlotte, NC.
His paper, titled "Small Scale Folding Related to Detachment Folding—Northern Snake River Range, NV" (abstract) is the result of research Watkins conducted last summer under the direction of Peter Hudleston at the University of Minnesota during a National Science Foundation Research Experiences for Undergraduates program.
