Kaniasty Co-Edits New Volume on Stress and Anxiety Research

/uploadedImages/Stress and anxiety cover.jpgProfessor Krys Kaniasty, Department of Psychology, has co-edited a book titled Stress and Anxiety: Applications to Economic Hardship, Occupational Demands and Developmental Challenges (Berlin: Logos Verlag, 2012).

This annual volume features invited and selected presentations from the most recent conference of the Stress and Anxiety Research Society.

Part One explores the psychological and social consequences of economic hardship and financial burden associated with global economic upheavals.

Part two features studies of risk factors and psychological resources concerning occupational stress and burnout.

The final part presents investigations of several facets of the stress process in a variety of populations, including school children, adults, and users of online social networks.
