The IUP Marching Band, “The Legend,” will present its annual "roof raising" concert on Sunday, November 11, 2012. The concert will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium of IUP’s Performing Arts Center. The Marching Band is under the direction of David Martynuik.
This year’s concert brings back the tradition of featuring another music ensemble for the performance. Joining in the program will be the IUP Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Kevin Eisensmith.
Both ensembles will perform a special collection of moving, spirited, and highly energized music from their repertoire from great jazz hits to concert versions of the band’s field routines.
Tickets are $9 for regular admission, $8 for senior citizens, and $6 for students and children. Tickets will be sold at the door starting at 6:00 p.m. the night of the performance.
