IUP at Northpointe hosted the IUP Jazz Ensemble for a free public performance on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. The performance was held at the Family Life Center, just a few minutes from the Northpointe campus.
Students from Ronald Horner’s Intro to Music class and community members enjoyed a lively performance of jazz favorites. The IUP Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of Kevin Eisensmith and is one of the many accredited ensembles within the Department of Music at IUP. Richard Muth, director of the Northpointe campus, was very pleased with the evening’s performance and was very appreciative of Eisensmith’s willingness to bring this opportunity to the Northpointe campus and the local community.
