Sharon Palchak, a veteran trainer from ProQuest, will lead a webinar on Thursday, November 1, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. in Stabley 201 on using ebrary. ebrary is an e-book aggregation service through which the IUP Libraries has access to more than 70,000 e-book titles.
E-books provided by ebrary are available on a title-by-title basis through our online catalog, or as one of our article databases.
Sharon will provide:
- A live demonstration of advanced search features of ebrary
- Instructions on using InfoTools and how to create a personal account, which allows users to manage a Bookshelf, add notes and highlight, and download
- A review of the download options and a discussion of the information that ebrary can provide about how to differentiate between SUPO (Single User Option) and MUPO (Multi-User Option) titles, and subscription titles and perpetual access titles
Please join us in Stabley 201 at 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 1 for the webinar. Seating is limited to 50 participants.
Do you have a question about ebrary that has not been covered by the talking points above? Just e-mail Joann Janosko (janosko@iup.edu) to submit additional questions to Sharon before the session.
