Reading of “Spark,” November 9

Loading...

Everyone is invited to a reading of the play Spark from 8:00–10:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2012, in the Waller Hall Studio Theater. Admission is free.

A contemporary U.S. story of faith, love, and healing, the reading of this play is part of a nationwide event to coincide with Veterans Day and the presidential election.

Spark, by Caridad Svich, is the story of three sisters living in the U.S. and caught in a recent war’s aftermath. It reflects what happens when soldiers come home, when women of little economic means must find ways to make do and carry on, and the strength of family.
