Kelly Heider, education librarian, presented “Best Practices for Embedding Librarians in Online Courses” at the E-Learn 2012 World Conference on E-Learning in Corporate, Government, Healthcare, and Higher Education in Montreal, Quebec, on October 11, 2012.
This presentation focused on the role of an embedded librarian and how successful collaboration between distance education faculty and academic librarians can increase student achievement in the online classroom.
The E-Learn World Conference is an international conference organized by the Association for the Advancement of Computing in Education and cosponsored by the International Journal on E-Learning. This annual conference serves as a multidisciplinary forum for the exchange of information on research, development, and applications of all topics related to e-learning in the corporate, government, healthcare, and higher education sectors.
