Call for Papers: IUP Asian Studies Undergraduate Research Conference

On March 1–2, 2013, IUP will host the first Asian Studies Undergraduate Regional Conference. Undergraduate students from all disciplines are invited to present the results of their field or coursework-based research in the field of Asian Studies. Presentations can range broadly both topically and regionally. Asia is here defined as consisting of Northeast, East, Southeast, South, and Central Asia, as well as the Middle East.

Those wishing to attend the conference should note the following:

  • All conference attendees must register for the conference.
  • Registration for the conference is free.
  • All student presenters must submit a completed PDF Registration Form and Presentation Information Form (including the talk or poster title and an abstract) by no later than Saturday, December 1, 2012. Note that these two forms can be submitted separately. Because the conference can only accommodate a limited number of presentations, student presenters are encouraged to submit their registration form as early as possible in order to ensure their participation.
  • All nonpresenting attendees must submit a completed registration form by no later than Friday, February 1, 2013.

Forms and other relevant information are available on the conference website.

Completed forms and requests for further information must be e-mailed to:
