The Women’s Rugby team had a home match this past Saturday versus Juniata College. The team won the match 91-0. Next up for the Women’s Rugby team is a home match against West Virginia University this Saturday, October 6, at the Club Field on South Campus.
The Men’s Rugby team traveled to Grand Valley State this past Saturday. The team won their match 34-24 in a hard-fought game. The team will be in action this Saturday, October 6, at Club Field on South Campus against Ferris State University.
Come out and support the Men’s and Women’s Rugby team this Saturday at Club Field on South Campus. The women’s match starts at 11:00 a.m. and the men’s match will start around 1:00 p.m.
The IUP Cycling team competed in the Yellow Creek State Park September race this past Saturday. David Watkins finished fifth with a time of 1:51:00, and Sean Shapiro finished sixth with a time of 1:55:00. The course was 12 miles long, covering both shores of the lake. David Watkins had to hike the last mile due to a mechanical problem with his bike.
