A pilot release of the DegreeWorks product is available in URSA for use by advisors. DegreeWorks is a Web-based tool that enables advisors to view a real-time comparison of a student's academic coursework against program specific requirements. The information is presented in an easy-to-read color-coded checklist format.
DegreeWorks will eventually replace CAPP once all the options have been developed and made available in future releases.
A short video is available as an introduction to and for help in using DegreeWorks. View the video on the DegreeWorks page.
Here are some important points to note:
- This is a pilot release that only contains the degree audit option. More options will be available in future releases of DegreeWorks.
- It is only available to advisors at this time. Students will have access in a future release.
- Undergraduate program requirements have been coded for the 2010, 2011, and 2012 catalog terms.
- Graduate program requirements will be available in a future release.
