The National Society of Minorities in Hospitality will be hosting a meet and greet on Monday, September 24, at 6:00 p.m. in Ackerman Hall, Room 110B.
All students who are interested in seeking membership and opportunity within the Hospitality industry are encouraged to attend.
The objectives of NSMH are to aid in the recruitment and retention of minority students in hospitality education, to build and maintain a working relationship between hospitality professionals and the hospitality industry. Memberships is open to all IUP students without regard to major, race, color, creed, national origin disability, religion, gender, and sexual or affection orientation.
The purposes of the National Society of Minorities in Hospitality shall be to continue departmental education beyond the classroom; provide networking opportunities and educational seminars; enhance individuals knowledge in the hospitality industry; and participate in the recruitment and retention of students in serving the best interests of the HRIM department.
