Courtney McLaughlin, assistant professor in the Educational and School Psychology Department, is a member of the Mental Health-Education Integration Consortium (MHEDIC).
The mission of MHEDIC is to promote national interdisciplinary collaboration on mental health services in the schools.
Recently, McLaughlin participated in the biannual meeting on September 6–7, 2012, at Penn State University. The function of this meeting was to continue research, collaboration, and policy development regarding mental health initiatives that promote collaboration among families, children, mental health, and health providers.
