Speech-Language Pathology Program Earns Full Reaccreditation

Loading...

The Speech-Language Pathology program has earned full reaccreditation from the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, a semi-autonomous arm of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

The CAA is the professional accrediting body for university programs that prepare speech-language pathologists and audiologists to work in various settings, including hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers, and clinics.

The IUP Speech-Language Pathology program first received accreditation in 1991. The current reaccreditation will last through May 2020.

Our master’s degree program completion rate has been 97 percent in the last three years, with 94 percent of our students passing their national exam on the first attempt, and 100 percent finding employment after graduation.
