The IUP Music Department and Ovations! are pleased to present two upcoming performances. Tickets for both the annual Homecoming Concert and for Live at Birdland with Tommy Igoe are now available through the HUB Box Office, in person or by calling 724-357-1313.
Under the direction of Jack Stamp and Jason Worzbyt, the IUP Concert Band, Symphony Band, and Wind Ensemble will be featured in their annual Homecoming Concert on Sunday, October 7, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium. General admission ticket prices are $9 regular, $8 senior or group discount, and $6 with an I-Card.
From one of the world's top jazz clubs, Live at Birdland with Tommy Igoe will thrill audiences with new hits, old standards, and iconic jazz tunes. IUP’s own Jazz Ensemble will partner with the group for a few numbers. This Ovations! performance will take place on Tuesday, October 9, at 8:00 p.m. in Fisher Auditorium. Reserved seating ticket prices are $23 regular, $18 senior or group discount, and $12 with an I-Card.
