An enhancement has recently been made to the Testscoring service offered by IT Services at the IT Support Center. This enhancement will offer greater security and convenience for those using the Testscoring service, the Student Picture Service, or the Banner Web Print service by storing all output from those services in the same location.
Please note the following important items related to this enhancement:
- If you are accessing exam results from an off-campus location using the browser link or a mapped drive, you must connect to the IUP Virtual Private Network (VPN) before you can access your folder. For instructions on connecting to the VPN, see Virtual Private Network (VPN).
- If you mapped a drive to
\\exams.iup.edu\examresults$, you will need to disconnect this drive and remap to \\dispatch.iup.edu\dispatch$\USERNAME (replacing your username). Mac users will connect to smb://dispatch.iup.edu/dispatch$/USERNAME. See How to Map the Standard IUP Network Drives for instructions on mapping a drive.
- The new Web address to access exam results using a web browser will be:
https://dispatch.iup.edu/USERNAME/Exams/
replacing USERNAME with your own username. If you have not used the Testscoring service, this URL will not exist.
- Within your /Exams/ folder, the term folders will use standard Banner terms:
- 201150 = Spring 2012
- 201210 = Summer 2012
- 201240 = Fall 2012
- If you submitted exams after January 1, 2012, those exams have been copied to the new location and can be found in the appropriate term folder.
