The Writing Center provides Web-based resources on a variety of topics. This information covers the many steps of academic writing and can be used in the classroom or as additional information for students.
The help sheets provided in the Writing Center cover common writing topics such as writing thesis statements, documenting sources, and punctuation; they are available for download online.
Faculty can also inform students about the Writing Center’s services by inserting sample texts directly into a class syllabus. The texts cover the Center’s hours, location, tutoring services, and printed resources, and they explain how students can get the most out of a tutorial session.
