First Planetarium Show of the Year Announced

The first Planetarium Show of the 2012–2013 academic year, “Discoveries from the Moon,” will be conducted by Ken Coles on September 22, 2012, at 7:00 p.m.

This show will celebrate International Observe the Moon Night, and discussion will include new findings from recent lunar missions as well as what future missions are planned. Weather permitting, telescopes will be set up outside following the show to observe the Moon.

The full schedule of shows offered by Coles in the IUP Planetarium will be up soon. All shows are free and open to the public.
