Crystal Machado, Professional Studies in Education, presented a workshop titled “Let’s get Critical! Using Low-Tech Simulations to Promote Higher Level Thinking” at the Reflective Practice Large Group session at Indiana University of Pennsylvania on February 2, 2012.
Machado shared some tried and tested low-tech simulations and body kinesthetic activities that she uses to nurture critical thinking in students. The session was attended by approximately 40 IUP faculty members.
