How to Cancel an Upcoming Semester

Any student wishing to cancel (not attend) an upcoming semester at IUP should take the appropriate action before the semester begins or during the drop period.

Once the semester begins and the drop period ends, a Total University Withdrawal must be processed. Special circumstances are handled on a case-by-case basis by the dean of the college in which the student is enrolled.

If you have the opportunity to return to IUP, you will need to apply for readmission.
