Top Students May Qualify for Sutton Scholarships

Undergraduate students who enter IUP in the Fall of 2013 and meet academic qualifications may be considered for a new scholarship program.

Administered by the Admissions Office, the Sutton Scholars program recognizes academic achievement and awards funding scholarships that may be renewed for up to four years for students who maintain academic performance.

"Sutton Scholars are an elite group,” said Michael Husenits ’93, admissions director. “We’ve established this program to raise the bar—we want the best students coming in our doors, and we believe that between our academic reputation, excellent faculty, the academic programs we offer, and our beautiful campus, IUP can offer prospective students an educational experience that is second to none.”

Students must apply for admission to IUP by October 31 to be considered. Eligible students will be sent an invitation to interview for the program.
