Senese will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in writing, rhetoric, and composition and mentor graduate teaching assistants.

She'll also work as a faculty writing tutor in the ASU Writing Center, which conducted over 3,500 tutoring sessions during the 2010–2011 academic year.

“I'm delighted to be tutoring in the Writing Center,” Senese said. “It enriches my teaching and reminds me of the importance of being student-centered in my pedagogy and scholarship.”

The ASU writing programs were awarded the Certificate of Excellence from the Conference on College Composition and Communication Writing Programs for their strong programs, faculty accomplishments, and dedication to professional development.

The writing programs consist of the Composition Program, University Writing Center, and Writing Across the Curriculum Program.
