Summer Displays at Stapleton Library

The IUP Libraries will feature three display windows this summer.

  • “Through the Oak Grove: a History of IUP” showcases photographs, catalogs, and a variety of memorabilia from the library’s Special Collections and Archives department.
  • “Indiana County, PA” highlights local points of interest and features actor Jimmy Stewart and author Edward Abbey.
  • “Coal Mining in PA” traces the history of coal mining in Western Pennsylvania with photographs, documents, examples of coal mining equipment, and books from the library’s circulating collection.

The displays are located on the first floor of Stapleton Library and will be available for viewing through August 2012.
