Mathematics Department professors Francisco Alarcón, Mary Lou Metz, and Edel Reilly presented “Preparing Smart Teachers to Teach with SMART Technology” at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) annual conference in Philadelphia on April 26, 2012.
The presentation included examples of how smart board and smart pen technologies are used in their work with pre-service teachers of mathematics.
NCTM is the largest professional organization in the world for mathematics teachers and educators.
